What it is
The Alpha Complete Seal Kit is a service component supplied by Alpha for its CD-series LPG boilers. It contains the seals required to reseal both the water and gas paths on the appliance. It is used when joints are opened during servicing or repair and the existing seals cannot be reused.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or tracking from joints after the boiler has been opened
- A smell of gas around a joint that has been disturbed
- Seals that are visibly hardened, flattened or cracked
- Recurring leaks at the same joint after re-tightening
- Seals that will not seat cleanly when a component is refitted
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is a CD90S or CD115S LPG variant
- Check the part number 3.021579 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Confirm whether the joint being worked on requires the water seals, the gas seals, or both
