What it is
This is a sealing O-ring measuring 17.86mm x 2.62mm, supplied as a pack of 20, used within the boiler's hydraulic circuit on the Eco²/InTec² platform. It is a genuine Alpha part, number 3.018189.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water or condensate weeping from the joint the O-ring seals
- The O-ring is visibly perished, flattened or cracked
- A drop in system pressure traced back to the sealed joint
Before you order
- Match the O-ring's internal diameter and cross-section against the one removed
- Isolate the boiler and drain down the relevant circuit before replacing a sealing O-ring
- Lightly lubricate the new O-ring before fitting to avoid damaging it on assembly
