What it is

The Alpha 3.016449 is a combustion chamber insulation panel set for Alpha gas boilers. It lines the combustion chamber, shielding the casing from heat and helping to maintain stable combustion conditions. It is listed for the Alpha HE Cb33 (LPG) and He33 (LPG) appliances.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracks, splits or crumbling across the panel surface
  • Discolouration, charring or brittle edges caused by heat exposure
  • Panel material breaking away or falling into the combustion chamber
  • Combustion readings or flue gas analysis drifting outside the expected range
  • Damp, stained or softened insulation following a leak or condensate ingress

Before you order

  • Check the boiler rating plate to confirm the model and GC number match the fitment list.
  • Confirm the appliance is the LPG variant, as the fitment list covers LPG models.
  • Compare the part number on the existing panel with 3.016449 before ordering.
  • Check how many panels the combustion chamber requires, as this item is a panel set.
