Alpha Seal Kit Water Complete 3.014685

The Alpha 3.014685 is a complete water seal kit supplied by Alpha for use in the water circuit of their CB50 and CD50 boiler range. It groups together the seals, O-rings and washers needed to reseal the water-carrying sections of the appliance, so a leaking joint or weeping connection can be put right in a single job rather than by sourcing individual seals one at a time. Seals in this position are exposed to constant heat cycling and mains water pressure, and they harden, flatten and eventually weep over the life of the boiler.

• Water weeping or dripping from the water section of the boiler, often visible as staining or scale trails on the casing or pipework
• Seals that have gone hard, brittle or flattened when inspected, rather than sitting proud and flexible in their grooves
• A slow loss of system pressure that cannot be traced to the radiator circuit or pressure relief pipework
• Damp patches or corrosion around a joint that was previously dry
• Repeated re-tightening of a connection that still seeps afterwards

• Note that 3.1124 is an earlier number for this kit, so an existing seal set may carry that marking
