What it is
An internal 3-way diverter valve repair kit manufactured by Alpha. It restores the diverter valve function on Alpha HE Cb-series LPG boilers, directing water between central heating and domestic hot water modes. Supplied as a repair kit rather than a complete valve assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No domestic hot water while the heating circuit continues to run
- Heating circuit warming when only hot water is demanded
- Diverter valve sticking or failing to change position between modes
- Water weeping from around the diverter valve body or seals
- Boiler locking out or reporting a fault during mode changeover
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and GC number against the appliance data badge
- Check whether the fault lies with the diverter valve internals or the actuator before ordering
- Verify the existing valve part number matches 3.013393
- Isolate the boiler and drain down as required before fitting
