What it is

This is a seal kit for the isolation valves and connections on Alpha gas boilers, supplied under part number 3.013388. It provides the sealing components required at the water and gas isolation points on the appliance. The kit is listed by Alpha for use across a wide range of models in the Alpha boiler family.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Weeping or dripping at the isolation valves on the appliance
  • Damp staining or corrosion around the valve and connection joints
  • Seals that have hardened, flattened or cracked with age
  • A gas smell at the isolation connection, requiring immediate attention
  • Leaks reappearing at a joint after the valve has been operated

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above before ordering
  • Identify whether the affected joint is on the water or gas side of the appliance
  • Check the condition of the isolation valves themselves, as a damaged valve body will not be cured by new seals alone
  • Gas-side work must be carried out by a competent, registered engineer
