What it is
The Alpha 3.013062 is a natural gas burner injector used in Alpha gas boilers. It meters the gas supply into the burner, so the injector size directly governs the gas rate and the resulting flame characteristics. It is fitted as part of the burner assembly on the CD range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Weak, uneven or unstable burner flame
- Boiler failing to ignite or locking out on ignition
- Gas rate measured at the meter outside the values stated for the appliance
- Sooting or discolouration around the burner
- Combustion readings outside the limits given in the manufacturer's instructions
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model against the fitment list above
- Confirm the appliance is natural gas, not LPG
- Check the injector marking against the size specified for your model in the manufacturer's parts list
- Isolate the gas supply and follow the manufacturer's instructions before removal or fitting
