What it is
The Vaillant 292233 is a coupling ring (ring, CPL.) used in the coupling assembly of Vaillant MAG 9/1 water heaters. It seats within the joint to help keep the coupling sealed. It is supplied as a 2 pack.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the coupling joint
- The ring is visibly flattened, perished or distorted
- Scale or corrosion build-up around the coupling seating
- A leak at the coupling that returns after the joint is tightened
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is a Vaillant MAG 9/1 OZ or MAG 9/1 XZ
- Check the existing part or documentation matches part number 292233
- Confirm how many rings are required for the coupling being serviced
- Inspect the mating faces of the coupling for damage before reassembly
