What it is
The Vokera 2909 is a domestic hot water (DHW) bypass valve used in Vokera Linea and Linea MAX SE gas boilers. It sits in the boiler's DHW water circuit and regulates flow through the bypass path. It is a serviceable component, replaced when the valve no longer controls flow correctly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water, or hot water that runs intermittently
- Heating works but domestic hot water does not reach temperature
- Boiler does not respond correctly to a hot water demand
- Water weeping or dripping from the valve body
- Scale or debris causing the valve to stick or pass water when it should not
