What it is
The Vokera 2905 is a motorised valve actuator used on a range of Vokera gas boilers, including the Linea, Syntesi, Hydra, Eclipse ESC and Unica families. It drives the diverter valve, moving the valve between heating and hot water positions in response to demand from the boiler's control board. The actuator is the electrical head that sits on the valve body.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water while the heating continues to run, or the reverse
- The boiler responds to demand but the diverter valve does not change position
- The actuator head does not move, buzzes, or runs continuously without stopping
- Heating and hot water operate at the same time when they should be separate
- The boiler locks out or reports a fault linked to the diverter valve

- Confirm the boiler model and, for Linea 24 and Linea 28, check the serial number against the Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3 ranges listed above
- Check the GC number on the appliance data badge against the model listed
- Confirm whether the actuator head alone is required or whether the valve body also needs attention
- Check the existing actuator's connector and mounting before ordering
