What it is
The Vaillant 287450 is a complete transformer used in the control circuit of compatible Vaillant gas boilers. It provides the low-voltage supply required by the boiler's control electronics. This part replaces the earlier code 287442.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler completely dead with no display or indicator lights
- Repeated fuse failure on the control board
- Audible buzzing or humming from the transformer
- Burning smell or visible scorch marks on the transformer
- No low-voltage output to the control circuit
