What it is

The Vaillant 282547 is a clamp (CPL.) used in the flue assembly of Vaillant gas boilers. It forms part of the flue connection on Ecomax and VU/VUW appliances, holding the flue components securely in position. This is a Vaillant flue component listed under gas boiler spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible corrosion, rust or distortion on the clamp
  • A loose or insecure flue joint that the clamp should be holding
  • Flue sections that can be moved or rotated by hand
  • Cracking, bending or deformation of the clamp body
  • Staining or marking around the flue joint suggesting a poor seal

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
  • Check the GC number of your boiler matches the appliance you are working on
  • Inspect the existing clamp and flue joint to confirm the correct component is required
  • Verify the clamp position on your flue assembly before removal
