What it is
The Main self seal adhesive rubber is a flue terminal sealing strip supplied in a 1.25 metre length. It is used to seal around the flue terminal on Main Medina and Medina RS appliances. The self-adhesive backing holds the rubber in position during fitting.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, perishing or hardening of the rubber
- The seal lifting away from the flue terminal where adhesion has failed
- Water staining, damp or condensate tracking around the flue terminal
- Soot marks or draughts at the flue terminal joint
