What it is
The ZA6A is a zone valve actuator from Drayton Controls, supplied with a six-wire connection and operating on a 24 V supply. It is the motorised head that drives a zone valve body to open and close the flow to a heating or hot water zone. The six-wire configuration carries the control and feedback wiring between the actuator and the system controls.
Before you order
- Confirm the actuator being replaced is a ZA6A unit and that it is the six-wire version.
- Check the supply to the valve is 24 V and not 230 V mains before ordering.
- Note the wire count and terminal arrangement on the existing actuator before disconnecting it.
