What it is
The Drayton Controls 779-2 is a two-port zone valve body sized for 28mm pipework. It is the brass body assembly only, used to control flow through a circuit in a central heating system. The body is supplied without the actuator head, so it is suited to replacing a body that is sound in the head but faulty in the waterways.
Before you order
- Confirm the valve body is the failed component and that the existing actuator head is serviceable, as the head is not included.
- Check the pipework size is 28mm before ordering; this body is not suitable for other connection sizes.
- Match the model reference 779-2 and part number 27601 against the existing valve to confirm compatibility.
- Allow for system drain-down, isolation and refilling when planning the swap.
