What it is
The Vaillant 251672 is a pump relay used in Vaillant Ecocraft VKK series appliances. It switches the electrical supply to the circulating pump, allowing the boiler's control to start and stop pump operation as demand requires. The relay is a serviceable electrical component within the appliance's pump circuit.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The circulating pump fails to run when the appliance calls for heat
- The pump runs intermittently or drops out during a heating cycle
- No heating or hot water despite the appliance otherwise operating
- Audible chattering or clicking from the relay area
- Pump operation cannot be triggered from the appliance controls
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the existing relay's part number and terminal arrangement before removal
- Isolate the electrical supply to the appliance before any inspection or replacement work
- Verify the pump itself is serviceable, so a faulty pump is not mistaken for a faulty relay
