Baxi 247310 Diverter Valve Body

The Baxi 247310 is a valve body supplied by Baxi for use in its heating appliances. It forms part of the diverter and motorised valve assembly and controls the flow of water or gas through the appliance, helping the unit maintain steady performance and correct operation. The body is the housing element of the valve, taking the internal moving parts and the pipework connections.

• Domestic hot water runs cold or only lukewarm while the heating circuit works normally
• Radiators heat up when only hot water is called for, or hot water is produced when only heating is demanded
• Water temperature at the tap fluctuates or drops away during a draw-off
• The valve body weeps or drips at its connections or around the spindle area
• The actuator or motor runs but the valve does not change position, or the appliance reports a valve-related fault

• Check the part number on the existing component against BAXI247310 and the alternative number 247310
• Confirm your appliance model and GC number against the compatibility information before purchase
• Inspect the sealing washers and O-rings at the valve body connections and renew any that are compressed or damaged
• Work inside the appliance should be carried out by a competent person, with the appliance isolated and made safe first
