The Baxi 240398 is a diverter valve assembly for Baxi combi boilers. This assembly is used on the Bahama 100 range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Hot water runs cold or only lukewarm while the central heating is working normally
- Radiators warm up when only hot water is drawn, or the heating stays cold when it is called for
- Domestic hot water temperature swings between hot and cold during a single draw-off
- The boiler does not switch cleanly between heating and hot water modes
- The valve body sticks, seizes or shows signs of leakage around the spindle or seals
