What it is
The Baxi flue seal, part 237259, is a sealing component for the flue assembly on Baxi Solo, Solo Heat, Platinum, 100/2 HE and Combi HE boiler ranges, and on the Potterton Gold models listed below. It seals the flue joint at the appliance connection, closing the gap against the escape of combustion products and the entry of air at that point.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The existing seal is cracked, split, hardened or visibly degraded
- Soot staining, condensate tracking or discolouration around the flue joint
- Combustion readings at the flue test point drifting outside the appliance's stated tolerance
- Signs of leakage or air ingress at the flue connection during a service check
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and GC number against the fit list; for the Solo Heat ErP IE models, check the serial number suffix
- Inspect the existing seal before ordering so the profile and seating position can be matched
- Flue and gas-carrying work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
