What it is
The NG Jet, part number 2353, is a natural gas injector supplied by Vokera for use in its domestic gas boiler range. It sits at the burner and meters the gas flow into the combustion area, so its condition directly affects ignition, flame stability and combustion quality. It is listed under burner components in the Vokera gas boiler spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Weak, uneven or unstable burner flame
- Poor or delayed ignition at the burner
- Sooting or discolouration around the burner area
- Visible blockage, debris or damage at the jet orifice
- Combustion readings outside the expected range on a flue gas analyser
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a natural gas model, as this jet is for NG only
- Check the boiler model and, where applicable, the serial number against the fit list
- Verify the existing jet is marked with part number 2353
- Inspect the burner and jet seating before fitting to rule out other causes of poor combustion
