What it is

The Dynamical 3/4 Threaded BSP Straight TRV is a thermostatic radiator valve manufactured by Altecnic. It forms part of the Altecnic rad valve range and controls the flow of heating water through a radiator according to the temperature set on the valve head. The straight pattern body is configured for pipework that approaches the radiator in line with the valve outlet.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The radiator continues to heat when the valve head is turned to its lowest setting.
  • Water weeping or dripping from the valve body, spindle or connection.
  • The valve head is seized, stiff to turn or fails to respond to temperature changes.
  • The valve will not shut off fully, causing overheating in the room.
  • Visible corrosion or scale around the valve body or unions.
