What it is
The Baxi 230259 is a control box cover used on Baxi Solo 2 and Solo 3 PF, PFL and System gas boilers. It encloses the boiler control box, protecting the controls and internal wiring from dust, moisture and accidental contact. The cover forms part of the boiler casing assembly and is removed for access during servicing and fault diagnosis.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The cover is cracked, split or broken
- The cover is missing, leaving the control box and wiring exposed
- Fixing points, clips or lugs are snapped so the cover will not seat or stay in place
- Heat discolouration, warping or distortion of the cover
- The cover no longer sits flush against the casing, leaving a visible gap
