What it is
The 22mm angled automatic bypass valve is manufactured by Altecnic for use in domestic boiler and central heating systems. It maintains a minimum flow rate through the boiler when thermostatic radiator valves or zone valves close, protecting the heat exchanger from overheating and reducing short cycling. The angled body allows the pipework to turn through 90 degrees at the valve position.
