What it is
The Potterton Ring - Wall Sealing is a sealing ring supplied as a spare for Potterton gas boilers. It forms the seal where the appliance connection passes through the wall, closing the opening against draughts, moisture and debris. Part number 212217.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible gaps or open joints where the connection passes through the wall
- Draughts or cold air entering around the wall penetration
- Damp patches, staining or water tracking at the wall opening
- The existing ring is perished, cracked, hardened or distorted
- Debris or insects entering through the unsealed opening
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the fit list above
- Check the existing ring for size, profile and condition before removal
- Inspect the wall opening for damage that could prevent a clean seal

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
