What it is
The Vokera 20190422 is a pump cable with PWM (pulse width modulation) control, used to connect the circulating pump to the appliance's control electronics. It is supplied by Vokera for the Unica MAX range of combi and system boilers. The cable carries both the pump power supply and the modulation signal that governs pump speed.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pump does not run, or runs intermittently, with no obvious mechanical fault at the pump head
- Pump speed does not respond to demand, so the appliance runs hot or short-cycles
- Visible damage to the cable, such as chafing, scorching or a broken conductor
- Corrosion, arcing or a loose fit at the pump or PCB connector
- Pump-related fault codes or lockouts that persist after the pump itself has been checked
