What it is
The Vokera 20119995 is an ignition electrode for Vokera gas boilers. It sits at the burner and provides the spark that lights the gas/air mixture on a demand for heat. It is listed under electrodes within gas boiler spares.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to ignite, with no spark at the burner
- Repeated lockout on start-up despite gas and water pressure being correct
- Visible cracking, erosion or heavy carbon build-up on the electrode tip
- Damaged or brittle ceramic insulator
- Spark tracking to earth instead of across the electrode gap
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and, where applicable, the boiler code against the fitment list
- Check the existing electrode for physical damage before ordering
- Inspect the lead and ignition transformer, as a no-spark fault is not always the electrode
- Isolate the appliance and follow the manufacturer's instructions for access and replacement
