What it is
The Vokera Silicone Gasket For Ignition Plug is a heat-resistant silicone sealing gasket, part number 20102379, used on Vokera Condexa PRO boilers. It sits at the ignition plug mounting point and seals the joint against combustion gases and heat at the burner. The gasket is a service item, replaced when the seal degrades or the ignition plug is removed and refitted.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The gasket is hardened, brittle or has lost its elasticity
- Visible cracking, splitting or flattening of the sealing face
- Soot staining or heat discolouration around the ignition plug mounting point
- Signs of combustion gas leakage at the plug joint
- Ignition faults or unstable ignition traced to a poor seal at the plug
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model against the Condexa PRO range listed above
- Check the part number on the existing gasket or the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Inspect the ignition plug and its mounting face for damage before refitting
- Replace the gasket whenever the ignition plug is removed
