What it is

The Vokera 20092620 is a fitting/union used on Vokera gas boilers. It forms part of the boiler's pipework connection assembly, joining and sealing the mating pipework or component at that point. It is listed by the manufacturer under gas boiler spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible weeping or damp staining at the union joint
  • Corrosion or pitting on the union faces or threads
  • A joint that will not seal after re-making, even with a new washer or sealant
  • Thread damage or cross-threading preventing the union from tightening down
  • Water tracking along the pipework from the joint

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and boiler code against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
  • Check the union size and thread form match the connection being replaced
  • Inspect the mating faces and pipework for damage that would prevent a seal
  • Have the correct sealing washer or jointing material to hand before fitting
