What it is
The air box bottom is the lower section of the air box assembly used on a number of Vokera condensing combi boilers. It forms part of the combustion air path, seating against the upper air box section and the fan assembly. It is supplied as the bottom section only, not as a complete air box.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Cracks, splits or distortion in the air box bottom casing
- Whistling, roaring or unusual intake noise from the air box area
- Soot staining or heat discolouration around the air box joint
- Combustion readings that cannot be brought within tolerance after servicing
- Damaged or perished sealing faces where the bottom section meets the upper air box
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the fit list above
- Check whether your Sabre HE Plus 25 is the pre-2009 version, as fitment differs
- Inspect the existing air box to confirm the bottom section is the part that has failed, rather than the complete assembly
- Compare the part number on the existing component with 20081537 before ordering
