What it is
The Riello MO535-MPF is a digital control box used on Riello RDB2.2 pressure-jet burners. It manages the burner's start sequence, flame supervision and lockout functions. This control box is listed for Riello burner spares applications on Firebird boiler units.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner runs through pre-purge but fails to establish a flame and locks out
- Repeated lockouts that clear only after a manual reset
- No response from the burner when there is a call for heat
- Erratic or intermittent burner operation that cannot be traced to fuel, air or ignition components
- Control box housing showing signs of heat damage, moisture ingress or burnt contacts
Before you order
- Confirm the burner model is an Riello RDB2.2 variant
- Check the existing control box part number against MO535-MPF
- Verify the appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list before ordering
- Inspect the burner wiring and plug connections for damage that could mimic a control box fault
