What it is
The Vokera 20017585 is a metal combustion chamber cover used on Vokera Compact 24 SE and Mynute 24 SE boilers. It closes the combustion chamber, sealing the burner area from the surrounding casing. The cover forms part of the appliance's combustion enclosure and must be correctly seated when refitted.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, pitting or heavy surface rust on the metal cover
- Distortion or warping from prolonged heat exposure
- Cracks, splits or burn-through in the metal
- Difficulty achieving a clean seal when the cover is refitted
- Soot or staining around the cover edges suggesting leakage past the joint
Before you order
- Check the appliance rating plate to confirm the model is a Vokera Compact 24 SE or Mynute 24 SE
- Compare the part number on the existing cover against 20017585
- Inspect the surrounding seals and fixings before refitting the new cover
- Confirm the boiler is isolated and the combustion chamber is safe to open before starting work
