What it is
The Intergas 200117 is a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) sensor, designated NTC 1 - 2, used across the Intergas Compact HRE, Combi Compact HRE, Combi Compact ECO RF and Rapid boiler ranges. It provides temperature feedback to the boiler's control system so that heating and domestic hot water circuits can be regulated accurately. The thermistor's resistance changes with temperature, allowing the PCB to monitor and respond to system conditions.

- Boiler locks out or displays a temperature-related fault code
- Erratic or inaccurate temperature readings on the boiler display
- Short-cycling or inconsistent heating and hot water performance
- Resistance reading from the sensor falls outside the expected range when tested
- Visible damage, corrosion or loose connection at the sensor or its plug
