What it is
The Glow-worm 2000802463 is a 24 kW burner kit supplied with gaskets for Glow-worm gas boilers. It replaces the earlier code 802463. The burner carries the gas and air mixture into the combustion chamber, so its condition directly affects flame quality and combustion performance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Yellow or lazy flame instead of a crisp blue flame
- Soot deposits or blackening around the burner or heat exchanger
- Repeated boiler lockouts or ignition faults
- Unstable flame, flame lift-off or excessive combustion noise
- Combustion readings outside the manufacturer's stated range
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and GC number against the fitment list
- Check the existing part number 2000802463 or the replaced code 802463
- Confirm the boiler is the 24 kW variant
- Check whether the gaskets supplied suit your appliance
