What it is

The Glow-worm 2000801911 is a system pressure sensor for Glow-worm domestic boilers. It reads the water pressure inside the sealed heating circuit and passes that signal to the boiler's control board, so the appliance can run within its safe operating pressure range and shut down when pressure falls outside it. The sensor is a replacement item for the original factory-fitted component.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler locks out or displays a low pressure fault code while the system gauge reads normal.
  • The pressure value shown on the boiler display drifts, jumps or stays fixed while the actual system pressure changes.
  • The system needs topping up repeatedly because the boiler keeps reporting low pressure.
  • The boiler fails to fire, or shuts down shortly after ignition, with a pressure-related error.
  • Corrosion, cracking or weeping is visible at the sensor body or its connection.

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and GC number from the data badge, as Glow-worm has used more than one pressure sensor across its ranges.
  • Match part number 2000801911 against the number on the existing sensor or in the boiler's installation and servicing manual.
  • Check whether a sealing washer or O-ring is needed for the refit, as the old seal is unlikely to reseal reliably.
