What it is
The BLOCK PUMP is a Glow-worm circulating pump assembly supplied for the Glowworm GW 23C gas boiler. It moves primary water around the boiler and heating circuit, maintaining flow through the heat exchanger and system pipework. This item is listed under Glow-worm gas boiler spares in the pumps category.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler runs but the heating circuit stays cold or heats unevenly
- Pump noise — humming, grinding or rumbling that does not clear after venting
- Overheat or flow-related lockouts appearing during demand for heat
- No circulation detected at the pump body while the boiler is firing
- Visible leakage or weeping from the pump housing or its seals
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Glowworm GW 23C before ordering
- Check the existing pump against part number 2000801900
