What it is

The Glow-worm 2000800001 is a gas valve used on Glow-worm Hideaway appliances. It controls the supply of gas to the burner under the boiler's sequence of operation. The valve is listed for the Hideaway HA80/100/120B & C range and the wider Hideaway 70 to 120 BF and OF models.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to ignite or fires only intermittently
  • No gas is reaching the burner despite a call for heat
  • The appliance locks out shortly after starting
  • The flame extinguishes during operation
  • Repeated ignition faults that point to the gas valve rather than the ignition components

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and variant (BF or OF) against the fits list
  • Check the existing gas valve carries part number 2000800001
  • Identify whether the appliance is an HA80/100/120B or C variant where applicable
  • Gas valve replacement must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
