What it is
The Navien bottom bracket, part number 20007643B, is a mounting component used on Navien NCB500 combi boilers and NPE-AWE and NPE-SWE units. It supports and locates the lower section of the appliance assembly within the casing. The bracket is a serviceable item and is replaced when the original has corroded, distorted or failed.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, rust staining or pitting on the bracket surface
- Cracks, bends or distortion in the bracket body or its mounting points
- The appliance no longer sits square or the lower assembly feels loose
- Fixing holes elongated or stripped so the bracket cannot be tightened down
- Vibration or movement at the base of the unit that was not present before
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the Fits list above
- Check the serial number of your unit, as fitment is serial-number dependent
- Inspect the existing bracket and its fixings before removal so you can compare like for like
- Verify the bracket position on your appliance, as more than one bracket may be used in the assembly
