What it is
The Vokera gas valve cable is the wiring harness that connects the boiler's control PCB to the gas valve on Mynute VHE appliances. It carries the electrical signal that opens and modulates the valve during a demand for heat. The cable is supplied by Vokera under part number 20000137.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire on a call for heat, with the gas valve not opening
- Intermittent ignition or repeated lockouts that trace back to the valve circuit
- Visible damage to the cable, such as frayed, scorched or brittle insulation
- Loose, corroded or heat-damaged terminals at either end of the cable
- Fault codes or continuity faults indicating a break in the valve wiring
