What it is
The Vokera 20000118 is a drain plug used on Vokera gas boilers. It seals the drain point on the appliance's water circuit, allowing the system to be emptied and refilled during servicing, repair or component replacement. It is a serviceable part rather than a wear item, and is normally renewed when the existing plug will no longer seal correctly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the drain point with the plug fitted
- The plug will not seal after the system has been drained and refilled
- Corrosion, cracking or thread damage on the plug body
- Rounded or chewed hex head that cannot be tightened or removed cleanly
- Scale or debris build-up on the plug preventing a clean seal
