What it is

The Alpha 2.012511 is a support panel for the combustion chamber, used on the Alpha CD50 (LPG) gas boiler. It forms part of the burner assembly, holding and locating the combustion chamber components in position within the appliance. The panel is exposed to sustained heat and combustion by-products during normal operation.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible corrosion or rust on the panel surface
  • Warping or distortion from prolonged heat exposure
  • Cracks or fractures in the panel material
  • Heavy soot deposits or heat discolouration that will not clean off
  • The panel no longer seats or locates the combustion chamber correctly

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance is an Alpha CD50 running on LPG
  • Check the existing panel against part number 2.012511
  • Inspect the surrounding combustion chamber and burner components for related wear
  • Work on the combustion chamber should be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
