What it is
The Vaillant 193590 ignition cable is a replacement lead for the ignition circuit on Vaillant ecoTEC Plus and ecoTEC Pro gas boilers. It carries the high-voltage spark from the ignition transformer to the ignition electrode at the burner. It sits in the electrodes section of the Vaillant spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to ignite, with no spark at the ignition electrode
- Repeated ignition lockouts or fault codes relating to failed ignition
- Cracking, charring or brittleness visible in the cable insulation
- Arcing, tracking or burn marks at the cable terminals
- Intermittent ignition that changes when the cable is moved or reseated
