What it is
The Vaillant 190757 is a temperature and pressure relief valve for Vaillant cylinders. It is fitted to Unistor Vantage and VWS cylinder ranges, where it opens to discharge water if the stored water temperature or pressure exceeds safe limits.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the valve discharge pipe when the cylinder is at normal temperature and pressure
- Continuous discharge from the valve that does not stop
- The valve fails to reseat and close after it has operated
- Scale, corrosion or mineral build-up around the valve outlet
- Cylinder pressure or temperature rising beyond the normal operating range
