What it is
The Vaillant 190728 is a complete pressure relief valve for Vaillant gas boilers. It is fitted to the Ecomax and VUW appliance families, where it discharges water from the heating circuit if system pressure rises above the set limit. The valve is supplied as a complete assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the discharge pipe when the system is cold and at normal pressure.
- System pressure that will not hold and needs frequent topping up.
- Visible scale, corrosion or debris around the valve outlet or seating.
- The valve fails to discharge when system pressure rises above the normal operating range.
- A discharge pipe that runs continuously after the boiler has been repressurised.
