What it is
The Ideal Hydroblock Gasket Kit V4 (part 182437) is a set of seals for the hydroblock assembly used on Ideal Logic Combi 2 family boilers. The gaskets seal the joints around the hydroblock, and are replaced when the existing seals harden, flatten or begin to weep. It is a service item rather than a complete hydroblock assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the hydroblock area
- Limescale or corrosion staining around the hydroblock joints
- Gaskets visibly hardened, flattened or deformed
- Falling system pressure with no other obvious cause
- Damp patches inside the casing below the hydroblock
