What it is
The Ideal 180786 is a front panel kit with a chamfered base, supplied as a casing assembly for Ideal Atlantic Combi boilers. It forms the outer front casing of the appliance, shielding the internal components and combustion area from dust and accidental contact while giving the boiler its finished appearance. The kit is manufactured by Ideal for its Atlantic Combi range and is listed under the casings, covers and panels spare part group.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible dents, cracks or splits in the front panel
- Corrosion or rust along the chamfered base where moisture collects
- Panel no longer sitting flush against the boiler body, leaving gaps at the edges
- Distortion or warping after repeated heat cycling
- Damaged or missing retaining clips and fixings that stop the panel seating correctly
- Flaking paint or impact damage from servicing or handling
Before you order
- Check the GC number on the appliance data badge against the compatibility list to confirm the correct variant

- Isolate the electrical supply and allow the appliance to cool before removing or refitting any casing panel
