The Ideal 180509 is a wiring harness supplied for Ideal Mexico HE boilers. It forms the electrical link between the boiler's control components, carrying low-voltage signals and mains supply between the PCB, fan, gas valve and associated safety devices. The harness is a direct replacement item for the Mexico HE 30 and HE 36 models and is also listed against Ideal commercial parts.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler locks out or fails to fire intermittently, with the fault returning after a reset.
- Insulation on the loom is cracked, brittle or heat-damaged, exposing conductors.
- Connectors are loose, corroded or show signs of arcing or discoloured terminals.
- Fault codes relating to fan, gas valve or PCB communication appear and clear when the loom is moved.
- Rodent damage or chafing where the harness passes through the casing or against sharp edges.
