What it is
The ICI Caldaie 18020130 is a by-pass valve supplied by ICI Caldaie as part of its boiler spares range. It is catalogued under isolation valves and is intended for use within ICI Caldaie boiler systems. The by-pass valve controls flow around a circuit rather than simply isolating it.
Before you order
- Confirm the number 18020130 matches the marking on the component being replaced or the entry in the appliance documentation.
- Check that a by-pass valve, rather than a standard isolating valve, is the correct function for the position in the circuit.
- Work on gas appliances should only be carried out by a competent, registered engineer.
- Retain the old component until the new one is fitted and the system has been checked.
