What it is

The Ideal 179679 is an LPG to natural gas conversion kit for the Logic MAX HEAT range of boilers. It allows the appliance to be reconfigured for the fuel type in use at the installation. Fitting is carried out as part of commissioning or when the site fuel supply changes.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler is being converted between LPG and natural gas operation
  • The appliance is running on a fuel type it was not set up for
  • Combustion readings are outside the expected range for the fuel in use
  • The existing conversion components are missing, damaged or incomplete
  • A fuel supply change at the property requires the boiler to be reconfigured

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and GC number against the appliance data plate
  • Confirm the current fuel type and the fuel type the boiler must run on
  • Check the manufacturer's instructions for the correct conversion procedure
  • Conversion must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
