What it is

The Ideal 179678 is an LPG to natural gas conversion kit for the Ideal Logic MAX System boiler range. It allows a compatible appliance to be changed over from LPG operation to natural gas. The kit is fitted by a competent heating engineer as part of the fuel changeover.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The appliance is installed on LPG but the property is supplied with natural gas
  • The boiler requires conversion to natural gas as part of a fuel changeover
  • Combustion readings or burner behaviour indicate the appliance is set for the wrong fuel
  • The boiler has been commissioned on LPG and needs to run on natural gas

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance is one of the Logic MAX System models listed above
  • Check the current fuel type of the boiler and the fuel type it will run on
  • Verify the part number 179678 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
  • Conversion must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
