What it is

The Ideal 179673 is an LPG to NG conversion kit for the Ideal Vogue MAX System 15 boiler. It contains the components required to change the appliance from liquid petroleum gas (LPG) operation to natural gas (NG) operation. The kit is specific to this appliance family and must be matched to the boiler model before ordering.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler is currently set up for LPG but the property is supplied with natural gas.
  • The appliance has been moved to a property with a different gas supply type.
  • Combustion readings or burner behaviour indicate the boiler is running on the wrong gas type.
  • A gas supply change has been made and the boiler has not yet been converted to suit it.

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model is the Vogue MAX System 15.
  • Confirm the existing gas supply type and the gas type the appliance must run on.
  • Check the appliance data badge for the current gas category before conversion.
  • Conversion must be carried out by a competent, registered gas engineer.
